Service Description

Systemic Consultation offers reflective, psychologically informed support for professionals and teams working with complexity — where cases feel stuck, risk is escalating, or traditional interventions are no longer creating movement. This service is designed for practitioners who are holding high emotional, relational, and organisational pressure, including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, team leaders, service managers, educators, and frontline care staff. Rather than focusing solely on “what the family is doing wrong,” consultation explores the wider system: family dynamics, professional responses, organisational context, emotional processes, and unconscious patterns that may be sustaining difficulty. The aim is not to assign blame, but to restore clarity, confidence, and direction. *Individual / Case Consultation (£350 per session) These sessions provide a confidential space to: 💠Think systemically about complex or high-risk cases 💠Understand relational dynamics, hesitation, and escalation 💠Reflect on emotional impact, professional positioning, and decision-making 💠Develop clearer hypotheses and next steps grounded in systemic and psychoanalytic thinking Ideal for professionals feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to move forward ethically and effectively. *Team Consultation (£600 per session) Team consultations support groups working with shared complexity, offering: 💠A structured reflective space to explore patterns across cases 💠Improved communication, cohesion, and shared responsibility 💠Insight into how team dynamics and organisational pressures influence outcomes 💠Practical systemic strategies that reduce fragmentation and burnout These sessions are particularly valuable for residential teams, fostering and adoption services, safeguarding teams, and multidisciplinary settings. Across all consultations, the focus is on containment, clarity, and sustainable change — helping professionals think more effectively so families experience better outcomes, without professionals carrying the burden alone.
